Is the tuition the same for out of state students?
Yes, regardless of your residence or home the tuition is the same.

Does CVIU offer financial student aid?
CVIU now offers Federal Financial Student Aid such as Pell grants, student loans, etc. Contact Michelle Paustian for more information concerning financial aid.

Is CVIU VA approved?
CVIU is VA approved and eligible for Post 911 benefits

Is CVIU accredited?
CVIU is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools. Visit abhes.org or ed.gov.

Do I need a college degree to enroll?
No, if you do not have a college degree you need to have earned at least 48 college credits with a GPA of at least 2.5.

Am I a certified ultrasound sonographer when I graduate?
No. To become certified, or registered, you will need to apply to ARDMS or CCI. CVIU curriculum and instructors vigorously prepare you for the registry.

Do I need to be certified to be employed?
No, but this may soon change because many within medical diagnostics support certification for all positions.
